Refund and Returns Policy
The customer acknowledges having taken note of the Terms and Conditions before consulting the refund page. The terms "we", "our" and "the Seller" refer to the Le Papier Peint Français website.
The Customer has a legal withdrawal period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the Products. The return costs are the responsibility of the Customer.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
We cannot exchange or refund a gift product. We cannot take back the following products if you have unpacked them:
Strikes, health crises or any other event presenting a case of force majeure are external events beyond our control. Le Papier Peint Français does not bear responsibility for any disruption to the delivery of packages during this type of event blocking the speed of delivery.
No refund request can be accepted on the grounds that it is late, for an order of less than 30 days late. The customer agrees to make arrangements by ordering on time, in order to anticipate delivery delays.
It is possible to get a refund without having to return the order as long as it has not been shipped, that is to say as long as the tracking number has not been assigned. Once the order has been shipped, the refund will then take place after the Customer's order has been returned by traceable package, and received by the Seller.
In the event of a mailbox that is too narrow or a choice specific to the independent delivery person, the package may be collected from a relay point or local postal center. Once a delivery notice has been proven, the package must be collected within 7 days before being returned. The Seller cannot be held responsible for a package returned for non-collection within the allotted time. The order cannot be returned free of charge when the secure delivery method was not selected at the time of purchase. The so-called returned order must then receive a return tracking number in order to avoid loss, sent by email by the customer to the seller after informing La Poste.
The Seller undertakes to exchange or refund any Product with hidden defects, defects of conformity resulting from the packaging and quality problems during normal use of the Product, in accordance with Articles L.217-4 to L.217-14 of the Consumer Code. The refund will be made, according to the buyer's choice, via the payment method chosen during payment, or in the form of a credit to be used on the site for 6 months. The reshipping costs will then be borne by the Seller. The Buyer cannot cancel the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
In accordance with the legal provisions in force relating to the conformity of the goods to the contract or to hidden defects, defective Products (without this being due to the Buyer) or not corresponding to the order will be refunded or exchanged at the Buyer's choice. Products must be returned in the state In which they have summer received with the whole of the elements (accessories, instructions, etc.) in packaging allowing transport in good conditions.
These guarantees are without prejudice to the right of withdrawal provided for in Article 4.It is recalled that within the framework of the legal guarantee of conformity, the Buyer:
- has a period of two years from delivery of the goods to take action;
- may choose between repair or replacement of the goods, subject to the cost conditions provided for in Article L. 217-9 of the Consumer Code;
- is exempt from providing proof of the existence of the lack of conformity of the goods during the six months following delivery of the goods.
The legal guarantee of conformity applies independently of the commercial guarantee that may possibly cover the Product. It is recalled that the Buyer may decide to implement the guarantee against hidden defects of the thing sold within the meaning of Article 1641 of the Civil Code and that in this case, he may choose between the resolution of the sale or a reduction in the sale price in accordance with Article 1644 of the Civil Code.
For returns and requests related to this section, please contact Customer Service first or consult our Terms and Conditions. Any return by the Customer resulting in external postal costs cannot be covered by the Seller if the Seller has not been informed in advance.
In the event of a model or Product error when preparing the order, the Seller undertakes to exchange the Product. The return and reshipping costs will be borne by the Seller.
The Customer has a legal withdrawal period of 30 days from the date of receipt of the Products. Return costs are the responsibility of the Customer.
Any device whose main parts have been dismantled cannot be returned or refunded. Upon receipt of the package, the Seller will assess the perfect condition of the Products (packaging, accessories and instructions, etc.).
In the event of non-collection within the allotted time despite the notice of passage from La Poste, the order cannot be returned if the secure delivery method was not selected during purchase.
In case of unit problem or defect, here is the proof procedure to follow:
1. Please provide high quality photographic evidence of all products you received under 30 days after delivery.
2. Please provide high quality photographic/video evidence of the problem, under 30 days after delivery. Alternatively, you can provide an official damage report from the post office if the outer packaging of your order has been damaged or unsealed.
3. The photos provided must clearly show the shipping label on the package, which includes the package's weight and its tracking number.
The withdrawal form is available on the contact page. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable products such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept intimate or sanitary products, hazardous materials or flammable liquids or gases.
To complete your return, please include your name and order number.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, check your bank account again.
Next contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Return Policy
Refunds :
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if your refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original method of payment, minus any shipping fees. Please remember it can also take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post your refund too.
ARTICLE 8: GUARANTEE - RETURNS - REFUNDS - WITHDRAWAL
Articles provided by the-french-wallpaper.com are new and guaranteed against any defect. They are identical to those of traditional commerce and come from all the referenced publishers and suppliers.
If an item happens to be defective or non-compliant, the buyer has 30 working days from receipt of the items to request an exchange or refund. If the deadline thirty (30) days normally expires on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday or non-working day, it is extended until the first following working day.
The customer must return new or unused items in their entirety and in their original packaging, intact, accompanied by all possible accessories, instructions for use and documentation. (in its original cellophane packaging and with the corresponding invoice). In such a situation, the buyer must send proof of the defect(s) to contact@le-papier-peint-francais.com (description and photos attached).
In the event of exercising the right of withdrawal, Le Papier Peint Français® is required to reimburse the sums paid by the customer, free of charge, with the exception of return costs. The refund is due within a maximum period of 30 working days from the date of receipt of the returned package(s).
The return shipping costs will then be your responsibility.
In the event of a refund, we guarantee that it will be made within a period of less than or equal to 30 days from the date of receipt of the returned package. No cash on delivery shipments will be accepted, regardless of the reason.
THIS RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL IS NOT APPLICABLE TO PERSONALIZED, CUSTOM-MADE AND/OR CREATED EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE CUSTOMER ITEMS.
These items will then neither be taken back nor exchanged.
